We will explore how to creatively approach
the needs of Special Populations.

This creative approach is beneficial to inspire any Nia practice.

Why: It is my philosophy that all humans, despite limitations can have the experience of the JOY of Movement. I have been working in Special Populations for the extent of my Nia career. I will share how to provide a client centered approach for these populations. When possible, I provide guest teachers and personal stories.

Casey Bernstein has over 30 years of bringing the Joy of Movement to Special Populations. She will share her approach and considerations for engaging and sustaining Special Population in a movement experience. In this workshop we will explore the “assets and liabilities” of a particular population to creatively crafting a movement class. This practical, creative and fun approach is inspiring for all Nia Movement classes.
